Radiator Rubber Bushing

    I had a rubber bushing in the middle of my radiator that a large bolt went through things together upfront. I've lost it and was curious where I could get another?

    Cut a disc from the tread of an old tire? I've often done that for body mounts.

    That rubber bushing is quite thick and washers are used between it. Mine has two bushings, one above and one below. Know that the grille elevation is also used for the proper alignment of fender to tub to hood.

    I still had mine but it was in pretty bad shape. I realized that a standard "doughnut" rubber body mount worked great, I just had to drill out the center hole for the larger bolt and metal bushing that goes through it.
