Help with brake unions

    Having problems sourcing the correct size brake/clutch unions for the solid pipes,

    standard size is either 3/8" UNF or M10 (metric) here in the UK/Ireland

    Unfortunately I have 3 fittings (front brake pipes (SSBC)/slave cylinder) that uses a different thread all together. I thought it was 7/16" UNF but its not, right size but wrong thread/pitch

    Can anyone tell me what it is so I can order some before I resort to butchering the threads to the common 7/16" UNF

    Here in the states some of the brake parts have what we call pipe fittings.
    1/4" NPT is 27tpi, It is a taper thread and is about 7/16"
    You might look at that.
