bye, bye troup-seats

    after a lot of thinking about safty for the kids i have mounted the 3 seating bench in the front and the 2 seting rear.
    and now is also place to mount a rollbar for emegency, you never know.
    kids and the wife "hate" the new look but it make sens and sandra knows that this was not easy for me.
    while i was working she had fun in the trampolin and sad after to me that this is not our
    cj6, its now some jeep...

    Those troop seats are super cool. But the new arangement seems more functional and safe.

    I agree, the old seats looked cool, but it's more important to have some rollover protection and have your kids properly belted in.

    x2 on saving them. Kids will grow up and out. Then swap them back. Just keep a rollbar for safety when you do........

    The old seats would work well on safari, but your kids will find the new seat much much more comfortable. Especially as they grow taller. The factory Jeep back seat is actually quite comfortable for big kids and average adults (big or tall would be cramped though).

    The back seat makes good camp seating too.

    Looks good Gerald! And it looks like the seats fit too! I like the new look.

    of course i will keep the troupe seats, i love them.
    after a lot of thinking about i build my cj6 back to the roots, i mean stock 30" tires and no lift
    my jeep was stock 3 years ago and when i look at the meetings i see only big tires and high lifts and so i go the other route.....
    in the pic i still have the longer shakels but the come out this weekend.
    and if i find good axles i will sell the axels also, i dont need longer arb fr&re.
