How to ID a steering box

    I am in search of a steering box for my 67' CJ5. Looking through my service manual I noticed that the steering box for the F4 engine CJ5's and the V6 CJ5's were different. The F4 has a gear ratio of 14-12-14 to 1 and the V6 has a gear ratio of 19-17-19 to one. My question is how can I determine which box is which? I also would like to know what years of CJ5's will have the same steering box as mine. Thank you
