Want to convert the front drums on my '73 CJ5. Found a Dana 30 narrow track with disc brakes - think it's off a '76 CJ7. Will this fit my 73 dana 30? Thanks!

It will fit. However, the gear ratio might be different.

You can always buy it, then swap knuckles, then resell it. That's what I did, and it worked out well for me.

Just FYI, '77 was the first year for disks. A '76 has drums all around, just like a '73 (the rears are different though).

Yes, swap everything from the knuckles out, and keep your gears and housing.

You will need to use the outer shaft from the dana 30 with the disk brake. Will fit perfectly i did it last winter everything is bolt on. ...or if you're gear ratio is the same on both axle just put the complete dana 30 under you're jeep...

Another thing you will need the brake line from the dana 30 with the disq brake i think the drum one aren't the same...

Unless somebody swapped gears, 73 ratios were 3.73 and 4.27. 76-79 ratios were 3.54 and 4.09.
