Need a little help with my flat fender and figured one of you CJ5 guys would know the answer.
I have a CJ2A 1950 model with a dana 44 diff. It has 11" brakes and I want to put a cable operated E-brake on it.
What year of CJ5 should I tell the parts man to look for when ordering the cables?
Even better, does anyone know the NAPA part # for them?

I'm heading to Salida Colorado saturday to join in on the Mile Hi Jeep clubs fun week so I sure would like to have an E-brake before I hit the mountain trails:rofl:

I 'think' one of the 73 era rigs will work. I am assuming your going to the drums on the wheels and not the stock location of the Tcase?

Yes I want to use the drums for the brake.
Any idea if I will need any more hardware? ie: parts and pieces that will be missing inside the drum
The backing plates have plugs in the holes that the cables should exit through so I assume that they have never had e-brake cables in them.

Do you have all the stuff in the rear drums to actuate the e-brake? Also you'll need something in the cab to pull the cables (foot pedal or handle in the dash).
