I am looking for a 50" rear bumper with swinging spare tire carrier for my 1965 CJ5. Does anyone with a CJ5 have a Cross Enterprises rear bumper/tire carrier and are you happy with it? What is the width of the 47-76 CJ rear bumper they sell? Does it come with mounting brackets and does it just bolt up the frame rails like the stock setup? Are there any other good options out there? Any reviews of the Dirtworks setup and do they have a 50" bumper?

I have heard good things and am interested in the Cross Enterprises setup, but have not been able to get in touch with anyone (phone, email, etc.). Does anyone have a contact there?

    Where are you located?

Cassidy's Customs will make pretty much any bumper/swing you want.
I have one of his custom swings on the LJ... excellent work. Rattle-free after 4 years.

Before I bought this one, I searched for 6 months, and shook over 100 different swing outs (its nice to have a 500-entrant Jeep show in your hometown). This was the only one that was rattle-free... and I was able to customize it to add the features I wanted.

Although his website doesn't address swings for CJs, I'm sure you can work out the details.

Looks nice. I'm in Maryland near DC and they are north of Baltimore which isn't too far, so I will have to give them a call to see if they can set me up for a reasonable price.
