5 slot rims with front disc brakes

    i have a 46 2a that has a dana 25 with a disc brake conversion and i am going to be getting a aset of orginal jeep renagade 5 slot rims for it will there be any clearance issues

    Some conversions do have a clearance problems. I have a stock disk brake dana 30. The rims hit the calipers. I had to grind calipers down to fit, plenty of material on the caliper to grind down. Also the bolt that holds the wedge spring thing that slides in to wedge caliper on bracket, had to ground down or replaced. If yours hit, you can also put a 1/4 " wheel spacer behind the rim. That should give you enough clearence. I don't know if the lug studs will be long enough for that.

    I had a pair of after market slots that wouldn't go over my dana 30 conversion with chevy calipers. Never thought about grinding the calipers tho.
