    Bellview Winch Cable Control questions

    Well i have the winch completely install, i got the remote control hooked int othe dash and the two cable controls to use the brake and engage the winch. I am wondering about the control for the winch engagement. Is it only to engage the winch or should i be able to push the handle back in and disengage the winch?? Right now i cant push the handle in and make the winch disengage. It will push in, but the cable line is not strong enoguh to make the winch lever move. Just wondering if i am asupposed to be able to disengage the wnch from in the jeep or do i have to go out and disengage manually??

    If you have tension on the cable the in cab cable may not work to disengage.

    Can you hook up another cable for disengaging?

    There is no provision for a second cable. It really isnt a problem to disengage it by hand, since i have a hand control to make the motor work. I was thinking bout maybe having a return spring installed.
