Anyone tell me the difference in the CJ-3A frame/chassis and the CJ-3B frame/chassis?

    Anyone tell me the difference in the CJ-3A frame/chassis and the CJ-3B frame/chassis? Or where there is a reference? I see CJ-3A vs M38 and CJ-3B vs CJ-5 but not the 3A vs 3B. Thanks, Paul

    3A and 3B frames are exactly the same. No way to tell unless you knew what engine and or body was in it.

    Actually the early 3a frame would have a small tab on the front behind the grille to bolt the grille to, the 3B would not.

    Wow, yeah, I totally forgot about that piece. And I have bot a 3A and 3B frames. :rofl:
