hey guys havent been on in a while but have made a good bit of progress on the jeep lately. Ive ran into a snag, I cant figure out how the Steering column mount/ Brace go. I have the one thats mounted on to the firewall but im wondering about the mount around the dash/swinging pedals. Any pictures yall have would be greatly appreciated

If you're re installing an original non PS stick column and pedal assy these nasty "before" pictures may help. Picture 1 has a good view of a 72's dash wiring....amazing.

If you need another view let me know and I may have something. Good Luck.

Jeep calls the big bracket that goes from the firewall to the dash a "Retainer, Brake Pedal (Sled Bracket)."

"Sled Bracket" is quite descriptive. The sled bracket (SB) goes between the dash and the firewall. The pedals hang from the SB. The column bolts through the dash and the SB at the dash. So the pedals are not attached to the column.

Ya, the dash is sandwiched between the end of the pedal bracket and the column collar/bracket.
The other end of the column is held by that U-clamp at the firewall
