Body Lean - Need Leaf Spring Clips and Insulator Pads

My 72 has a lot of body lean and rides really loose and soft. I noticed today that number of spring clips and their associated plastic/rubber/whatever pads are missing. I can see how this would affect the body lean since the spring can pull apart without these. I found some Skyjacker spring clips but I don't find anything that looks like the OEM insulator pads for under the clips and between the leaves. Anyone know of a source of the pads or some way/material I could fabricate these?

BTW this will be for a mostly on road Jeep and I have brand new shocks.

I'm trying as many little things as I can to improve the handling. I really don't want to buy new springs without exhausting all other possibilities.
