Just installed a pertronix ignition with the blaster coil (what a difference):D My question is what spark plugs and gap is everyone running with the upgrade? I have an L head. Thanks in advance, Steve

With a hotter coil, you should be able to open the gap to .045 or so.

Realize that the factory distributor, cap and rotor is not designed to handle a high-voltage coil. Apparently it's ok when the parts are new, but you may find that the cap/rotor wear out sooner than expected.

Is there an upgrade available for the cap and rotor to handle the hotter coil? Also what is the correct factory plugs to use in the L-head, is it the same as the F?
