Tailgate latch

    This may be a dumb question, but on my '53 3A, there is no "latch" for the tailgate, just a a bolt on each side holding it closed. Is this how it came from the factory? If so, has anyone come up with a latch design so that one wouldnt have to break out a wrench everytime the tailgate needed to be lowered?
