Cj5 with CJ7 doors

I have purchased a 1981 jeep for my son. 83" wheelbase implies CJ5. Doors are CJ7, no fabrication can be identified. Government metal ID tag on dash. 43,000 original miles, verified by running the vin# which also confirms CJ5. Has anybody out there come across a CJ5, maybe ordered to govt. specs/ with CJ7 doors? ordered a ralleytop hardtop "very nice" for this vehicle, talked with Jerry "the owner" & he's never seen anything like this combination of jeep....Lookinng for info, maybe the gov. ordered to their specs, some 81 CJ5's....I'm guessing a hardtop for this is ggoing to be impossible, short of fabricating one.....Any idea's would be greatly appreciated, softtop that came with it fits great....thinking I may have to just keep with a soft-top...
