Dana 25,27,30 ring and pinion interchange

    Will a Dana 27 front axle ring and pinion fit a 70s CJ Dana 30? From what I can find online the diameter is the same, 7.12". What about a Dana 25 front axle ring and pinion into a Dana 30? I have a couple closed knuckle front ends sitting around and that would save me having to buy a new R&P. My 53-71 manual only specs the 27 front end.
