Finally got pictures of the body. It seems stronger than when it rolled out of the factory.
The floors are nearly all new steel. (1/8 inch)
The old floor supports were also nearly all rusted out. (the wood was still inside some of it)
They have been replaced with thick square tube steel.
Its about to get painted. We are gonna roll the chassis back under, attatch it and then paint the entire thing

    Here are some pictures

I like the idea of the beefed up floor supports. What size steel tubing did you use and do they match the original height of the hat channel supports? I'm thinking about doing something similar with an on frame floor replacement and collecting ideas.

Thanks for the replies. Heres an update. My dad has worked on the body plate that covers the transmission and got it looking perfect. It looks as nice as it did when it rolled of the assembly line. Here are some pictures

We fiberglassed it and then sprayed a coat of rhino layering and then painted it black.

    Half way painted.

I will get a picture of the piece inside the cj. The steering wheel and a couple other pieces have since been put in.

That is excellent work! The contrasting color on the transmission plate is a great idea.
