The 75 CJ-6 I picked up this weekend has a 232 with power steering on it. The pump is on the drivers side. Since the pump is on the drivers side will the hoses be the same as the V8?

    Thanks

Yes. '75 CJ PS hoses are the same, 6 or 8.

Thanks. Now all I need are V8 brackets. Do you think the pulley will be correct?

Doubtful. Which Pulleys? Certainly the crank pulley will be different - the pulley on the pump may be the same ... I can look them up if you can be more specific.

If I wanted to convert a 304 to PS, I'd look for a Grand Wagoneer to get the brackets. They show up pretty often in the wrecking yards... or post a WTB on www.ifsja.org/forums Sell the 232 PS setup as a unit - pulleys, brackets, water pump and all. I predict there will be plenty of demand for a complete 6-cylinder PS setup.

I will go ahead and look for a setup from a V8. Thanks
