braking question

    ok i got a special jeep i got a 73 cj5 with chevy k5 blazer axles i got steel braided brake lines in today and adaptors to adapt the lines to the orginal jeep lines and mc . anything special i need to do other than bleed bleed bleed . yall always have the answers here by the way the new axles are disk in the front and drum in the rear . any help would great . thanks

    I want to say you need to swap in a proportioning valve from a FSJ or similar with disc brakes.
    Something related to different amounts of fluid moving vs. the drum/drum system.

    Its the residual valve in the master cylinder for the front brakes you need to worry about. the valve for the drum brakes is set to a higher pressure then for disks. It can cause the disk brakes to lock up when they heat up.
