So my gas tank is only around 10 gallons....yeah cant get far. Is there a bigger tank that will go in without a ton of work?

It has a 2.5" spring over lift

Depends on your definition of a ton of work. Lots of folks go to a rear tank with varrying degrees of effort. There is the second tank to replace the passanger tool box. Fuel cell in the back under a passenger seat.

I think those are the most common options that I know of.

Do you have the rear tank or underseat?

The rear tank in my 71 is 15 gallons.

I have an 18 gallon marine tank going in the rear bed area, doesn't look like it would hold very much back there in the first place...lol.

The factory rear tank is 15 gallons. If you need bigger there is a 20 or 21 gallon poly tank that can be swapped in. The rear tank should under normal driving, net you around 200+ miles.
