I am buying a 75 CJ6 with a 232 that has power steering. I am going to drop my 74 304 into the 75 frame. My 304 does not have power steering. I know I will need the V8 brackets but will the pump and lines from the 232 work in the V8 brackets or do I need to get a pump and lines from a V8?

    Thanks

    Bob

I believe the pump is the same, but you'll likely need new lines (not 100% sure though). You can buy the pressure line at most part stores. The return line is bulk, also from your part store.

X2 on that. Your 232 should have the pump mounted on the passenger side unless it was done as a conversion. The 304 to the best of my knowledge is mounted on the drivers side. This means they have very different hoses. Good luck!
