Unfortunatly I am going to have get rid of my 69 CJ5 and I need help in putting a sale price on it. It has 140k miles, all original (paint, seats, little windhshield washer bag, etc). It has normal wear (no abuse) and a little surface rust on body. It has a new top and a 69 vintage 8K# Ramsey. What do yall think would be fare price?

in So. Cal I would say 3K to 4K; have seen worse get more, and nicer get less
spring time might be a better time to sell
    overdrive?
    axle ratio?
seems people will want to talk you down
    everyone wants a deal
    good luck! my 0.2 worth

    I agree with Jim-

As nice as it looks in the pic, 3-4K. I wish I had the cash for it... ;)

Whew, that's nice. Original paint! Where are you located? I'd predict your location would make the most difference in the price you'll get. I don't think you'd get as much as $4K here, but maybe in CA. ... V6, T14, 4:88s?

That is nice.. not sure about asking price, but what you've heard so far sounds right. Personally, I wouldn't sell it for that, but that might be all you could get...

I'm about to install an old '73 model Ramsey winch. Would you happen to have better pics of yours and the mounting of it?

Yours looks like maybe a different style...maybe worm drive or something like that but still I'd like to see pics.

I'll have to check about the axle ratio. It does have a T14. John, as for as the winch, I have attached a photo (there is a curved wedge holding the winch in place in a welded box). As for as the rims, they are a solid steel chrome rim that looks like someone took some Ford rims and machined the center wider. Y'all are making it harder than it already is to let it go of it.
