I read in some mag, somewhere, this guy had built his own lift springs by combining some of the CJ3a leafs with leafs from comparible sized springs from other vehicles. Has anyone done this? Will you share the leaf combinations you used?

    Thanks

The only one I can think of they built XJ springs and they used Yota springs along with XJ springs. Never seen anyone try to built their own CJ springs.

Old timers used the rear springs off a 1949-54 Chev passenger car. They are the same width at 1 3/4, you pull leaves and mix and match with stock springs to get a small lift.
