    Guys,
I have a question for you regarding gear ratios. I have a Dana 30 front with 3.54 and a 44 rear with 3.73. Is that ok to run together? Or would it be better to go ahead and get a matching 3.73 for the front? Thanks for the input. Cheers:beer:

NO. Absolutely do not run with different ratios. Unless you want to start replacing the transfer case, u-joints, etc.

Thanks, I thought that was the case, I just got the 30 yesterday and my Jeep is still in pieces. I will get a new R&P to match the other.

I have a 3.54 for a D44 if you decide to go that direction, read: "real cheap".

But that's not much of a gear for a Jeep, unless you have plenty of motor to push it. I would look for a 3.73 to match.
