I've been snooping around here for years. Don't post much.
Decided I would share the build that is cooking on my friends back patio.

My buddy Mikey was nice enough to provide the space for me to work on my project.

This is a total scrounger build So I am tossing every part I have sitting around and every craigslist deal I can find into the project.
My Family has out grown my CJ-3b and this rig has become a necessity.

Since I am in some what of a multi-category build competition with the group I wheel with I am going to try to list the prices for everything that has gone into the project.
Rules of the comp indicate that if you have had a part for 5+ years it is considered a free part. Lucky for me I have a bunch of parts :D

    Categories for this comp include.

Most unique rig (which I will win)
    Most capable
    Least expensive
    and most legal
and quickest build (lost this one already to an XJ)

parts and price list will be updated as parts are brought home.

oddfire 225 V6 w/ pwr steering pump, HEI and manifolds complete running. $75.00

Here she sits after the SOA on stock springs.
Wide track Dana 30 front. With Dana 44 highsteer knuckles
Stock D44 one piece axles with wheel spacers I had sitting around to make it match the front.

35" boggers and rims were free from a customer. they will be grooved and used as snow run tires.

final build will be able to drive to trail with family. enjoy a weekend of wheeling camping canoeing and fishing and get us home.

Wife and son are napping. I took this time to sneak some front axle parts into the dishwasher for some deep cleaning :D
I hope to have the front axle regeared and and back where it belongs this week

I took some time off to relax in the mountains and snowboard.
Working out of town this week.
I'm really itching to get back to work on the jeepster.
