Hey...can one of you 5 owners (preferably with a Bestop Tigertop) measure the interior height for me - from the level of the back floor area to the highest point in the softop?

I feel like this 6 has 4-5" more height in it than my 5 did...and if so might enable me to mount an overhead console and not bang my head...

SSDutch has 4' in that spot.

Where the center bows are at it's 46 inches. that is the tallest part

Here is the top of the rollbar

I have quite a bit of clearance between the rollbar and the top on mine. Makes me wish I had a taller rollbar, so I wouldn't bump my head.

Here is a measurement at the windshield frame too in case you need it

    Thanks John!

Looks like I picked up 2"...

I expect the w/s height to be the same, but it did just feel like there was more room over my head - but tough to really know with different seats etc....

You and me both John - that scares the stink outta me. Been pondering how to do it and keep the full soft top....

That's definitely an advantage of a custom built cage...going to have it built to give as much interior room as possible, w/o chafing on the softop.

Just a bit concerned that it's gonna have a goofy profile with the top off...but oh well...

The softtop bows on the flatty go almost directly over the hoop. I was considering just building the cage to support the soft top without the bows over the top and then doing something to keep the sides taunt. It would make for a kinda tall cage - but I'm a fairly tall guy. Need to install it and take measurements and such. Too many projects to think about it now...
