Is this part of a PTO

    What is the round disk with groves in it? I am speaking about (sorry for no pointer) the disk that the rear drive shaft connects to.

    That's the emergency brake. See the arm on the lower left side of the transfer case? That connects to the handle under the dash to engage it. Dang, came in third again!!

    Thanks. I knew that the little lever was what operated it, but the lever has long since been disconnected from the E-brake. I could not figure out it would be a PTO becuase it would need the shaft to spin in order for the PTO to work. Seems like an odd place for an e-brake.

    is it too late to add parking brake??? hahaha the PTO connects where the round black cover with the 5 bolts is, on the laft part of the t-case.
