D-18 sharing oil with T-18

    I have read some threads saying they do not share oil and others that they do can someone tell for sure. I do not have a gasket it is silicone between the tranny and transfer. Thanks

    The Borg-Warner 3-speeds share oil with the transfer case. The T-18 does not - there is a seal between them.
