Ground Strap on 74 Cj5

My battery is grounded to the engine block. Was wondering if there is another grounding strap that goes from the engine to the frame. Where is it located?

On my 75 CJ6 it had an earth strap from the left engine mount to the chassis.
I will see if I've got a pic for you.

 

Here you go.
The strap is from the bolt on the engine side to the bolt on the chassis side.

Yes, most cars have a strap that bridges one of the engine mounts.

 

Thanks for the info... will take a look today. It is either that or my negative cable to the engine. Have a bad ground somewhere.

 

You should also have a good ground strap from frame to tub..

 

tub to battery isnt a bad idea either....
