hubcap restoration

    Okay, since you guys solved the seatbelt restoration issue I had, does anyone have an answer for repairing the spring steel tabs on the back side of my Park's hubcaps?

    How do they need repairing? Are they broken off?

    They are rusted and broken. The cap has a ring of tabs the whole way around it which holds the cap to the wheel. The ring is sort of pinched into the back of the hubcap all the way around. I don't think just anyone could remove and replace the ring without damage occurring. Thinking someone out does this type of work. If I can get it, I'll snap some pics.
