Super Jeep Numbers

    Does anyone have an accurate estimate on how many Super Jeeps were produced? A seller of a Super Jeep on Ebay quotes the number 800. When I inquired about the veracity of that number, he told me he got the number from the sticker manufacturer. I have a quesiton into him asking if it was from a friend or if he has it in writing anywhere.....

    Likely any records of total number are gone.

    The Super Jeep package was an appearance and promotional package. There is no evidence of the package in the VIN or in the trim code.

    Buyer beware. It would be incredibly easy to replicate a Super Jeep with stickers, and the only way I can think of to verify originality would be an original sales invoice with the VIN showing that the purchased Jeep was indeed Super. Otherwise be skeptical.

    The one on Ebay has been modified greatly from original and is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
