Im wanting to put a power steering set-up on my sbc, manual tranny powered 46 cj2a. So what vehicle do I rape and pillage to get a column, linkage, pump, steering box? If it matters, Im using a d30 up front off a 78 cj7. Would I have to make my own brackets for the power steering pump? thanks guys.

I used a tilt column from a 85 Buick Skylark to put in my 48. There are nuts on the column that allow you to mount it to the stock mount on the dash with a formed piece of 1" flat stock. Also I got the U-joint at the base of it, which ends up right at the floor.

i got a column out of my sister-in-laws old mid 80,s camero. also took the steering shaft, pump and box. been working great for the last 8 years now. i did have to have a high pressure hose made and bought a borgenson universal joint to couple the column to the shaft.

Thanks Fellas for the input. It looks like there is variety of vehicles I can take from. Is there any vehicles I should avoid?
