spacers behind crank pulley? 225

    I removed the crank pulley from my 225 and there was a stack of three spacers between it and the balancer. This doesnt seem right...my FSM shows the pulley bolting right to the balancer. I have an old pulley laying around and it had the spacer/ring on the front side. Thoughts?

    Photo please. If these are fully round with bolt holes in them, they go on the outside of the pulley.
