Replacement tops

    Hello all: It is looking like it will soon be time to replace the top on my 62 CJ5. The most obvious choices are the Bestop Supertop or the Bestop Tiger Top. The price difference is insignificant. My existing "original" top has snaps and welded in windows. My question is which one of the Bestops is easier to install and take off or better performing overall. I am wondering especially about the belt rail in the rear of the Supertop vs the snaps I am used to. I do like the replaceable parts for the Supertop. Looking forward to your comments. Thanks

    I would be very surprised if the old top vs new top snaps will be in the same place. You can look at the on-line installation .pdf for the tiger top snap location in comparison to what you have. This may ease your decision.

    Never owned a Tigertop, but I really do like my Supertop. I would recommend the Supertop.
