I bought these mirrors from Krages motor sports. I wonder about the passenger side. Does it seem right? I am having a hard time getting it into any position that provides any kind of view of the rear. The driver's side is good. In case you can't tell, the arms are different from each side with the driver's side longer and the passenger shorter with a more acute angle. Is it possible they belong on opposite sides (not likely as I don't think that would work)? I can get more pics if needed
    Thanks,
    Paul

Turn it up straight like the driver's side and set it so you can see it through the windshield. Works good when you get it adjusted correctly.:v6:

the arms both of my mirrors have bends that are almost the same so i turned the passengers side 90* and drilled a new mounting hole. i still need to mount them to see if they will work and lok like the driver side. the mirrors on cj's look strange to me when they are mounted at different hights and angles.

There is utility in the design as well. By keeping the right mirror close to the jeep body it is less likely to get scraped off by a tree limb or rock. The left can be pulled in by the driver.

I always figured thats why they were made that way. Somebody that actually thought and had insight about it before they built them.

If you actually made the passenger side mirror so you can see it out the soft top door window, it sticks way out and/ or back so far you can't open the door all the way.
