Water Pump relocation for SBC conversion?

    I am not thinking of converting my JEEP (yet) but it just occurred to me that this might be useful to anyone wanting to put an SBC into an early CJ.

    This site is devoted to repowering Porsche cars but the Water pump kit might be just the ticket in a JEEP. It says it shortens the engine 5".

    I DO NOT work for these guys but I do fantasize about an LS powered 914 one day. And they seem to have a good rep.

    the water pump kit is part way down the Basic parts kit. I believe they sell everything separately for the home/budget builder.
