I will be tackling some dents soon, and I have the least experiance with body work. So I am wondering what type of tools you all use to knock out your dents prior to sanding and bondo work? Thanks!

usually, depending on how bad the dent is, you will use a slide hammer or I think thats what its called. YOu will drill a small hole into the dent, screw in the slide hammer and start poppin. They also sell these little rubber suction ones kind of like a plunger. If its a big, shallow dent with no creases you can just push that on there and pull it back and it pulls the dent out....sometimes.

Much better than globs of bondo oozing all over the inside panals of the jeep if you would have drilled holes
hammer and dolly helps reduce the amount of bondo you will need if done corectly:smash::beer:

yea hammer on dolly mabee a little body filler here and there. i work at a body shop.
we also have this crazy dent puller machine. its got a handle that welds it self to the panel and you pry the dent out. it also allows you to shrink metal by heating it up and splashing water on it to cool it really fast. i wouldnt reccomend it for the average hobbiest as far as cost goes but it sure is great wen you have alot of work to do
