windshield

I have recently twice tweaked my windshield via a tree, once pushed back and now once pulled forward. It doesn't look as though it was ever laid flat, but since I have caused some damage I was thinking of making it work. My current clamps holding the windsheild in place are the permenent type, so what are poeple using on the windsheilds that fold down, but still lock in the upright position.

Well...there is this...it replaces the stock latch.

Typical. Manufacturers usually price their stuff full retail if you buy direct from them. They don't want to undercut their retailers.

Another example, you can get a much better deal on an adapter from Advance from Herm than you can get by buying direct.

AFAIK, there's no source for replacement catches for the CJ-5. Somebody makes the earlier catches, but if you want the factory style for a CJ-5, you'll have to look for used ones.

If you have the plates, it means that your Jeep came from the factory with a hard top.
