360 smokes alot

    I started my 360 for the first time tonight and it smokes alot. Not so much from the tail pipes but from everywhere else, the oil fill tube is one of them I can see some smoke coming out from the main fitting for the radiator too and out of some the vacum lines in the manifold that I haven't plugged yet. I think I might know the cause but I hope isn't what I think it is. I do not have the PCV hooked up to a vacum source yet. I bought this motor used and have no idea how long it's been just sitting around or maybe there some oil in the cylinders. Any thoughts ?

    how long did you have it running?

    was the smoke just gently rising or was it being forcefully blown out?
