so i flushed my radiator before reinstalling it..and now its swiss cheese...i cannot believe the prices of these radiators......even with looking at recoring..the cheapest i found was $430..there seems to be some universal aluminum ones in jegs, etc that would fit, get 2 aluminum bolts and get them tig'd to the bottom?.....need some advice(dont want to go fiero/mustang route)

A good Radiator is going to cost some coin. The AL universal ones can be had for cheaper if you can find one that fits good (always been an issue for me). I have a custom 4 core made for about $330 a couple years ago.

However, it's got a small area and still keeps the V6 cool while putting in the hills. Worth alot in my book.

You might check out Speedway Motors. They are a class act to do bussiness with. When I rebuilt my Jeep, I purchased one of their fully welded universal aluminum radiators. It works very well and I have no problems with over heating. In my application, I decided to fabricate my own mounting brackets although I could have purchased thiers. Best of all, the radiator cost me $129.99 plus freight.
