1967-68 cj-5 body question......

on the rear end of the body tailgate opening....area..there is a piece of metal on the lower floor onto which the lower hinges attach to......
below this piece there is a body filler which attaches to the left and right side body panels....It also has a check in it to let the pintle hook come thru...usually called rear valence panel.
I would like to know if all rear valence panels are supposed to be the same distance from the top to the bottom
I have three 68 jeep all look good but all of the rear valence panels have been touched....
does anybody have specs to follow
