Ok...What is the trick to unscrewing the old ends of the draglink? I have used wd-40 and a tap of a hammer to try to loosen. Do you have any tricks?

I usually use PB Blaster and a drag link socket, at least I think that's what the socket is called. They are still a booger to remove sometimes, even with the right tool.

The fire tip wrench has always worked for me, little heat goes a long way on thin metal

X2 - Make sure there is nothing left of the cotter pin, spray Kroil and use a drag link socket.

    Strider380 Can I have a zip tie?

I always use a pipe wrench. I've never had a problem and dealt with some old ones.

oops.. If the drag link has the correct parts installed and is adjusted correctly, there won't be any threads exposed to get a pipe wrench on..So on that note, I have used lots of PB Blaster, some heat and hold a socket on the plug and hit with hammer to help break the rust. Have gotten a few hard ones that way.
