I'm looking for Napa part numbers for a Dana 27:

    Kingpin Bearings
    Kingpin Bearing Races
    Kingpin Bearing Shim Kits
    Knuckle Seal Kits

If anyone has ordered this stuff lately, I'd appreciate some help.

    Thanks.

Not to rain on your day but when I bought my jeep it had a blown up carrier in the 27 and I found it was so hard to find parts for it that I swapped in dana 44's. Seals and stuff may be another story. A GOOD napa should be able to find it for you. I found that some guys are lazy at certain stores and will not look up the old stuff. Maybe try 4wdhardware.com All jeep realated parts. Good luck buddy. Zach

    11590 Kingpin Bearings
    11520 Kingpin Races (Bearing Cups)

They also carry the knuckle seals but the price is outrageous.

Four Wheel Parts Hardware has a Vintage Jeep catalog that I thought had the knuckle seals pretty reasonable. So does JC Whitney.

    Just a follow-up FYI,
I rolled into my local NAPA with this part number, and the guy couldn't find it. He was able to research my Jeep to find the part number BR11590, for $20.99.

Just now I went to NAPA's online site and did a search for 11590, and I got a few bearing options....some of them cheaper. The moral of the story is....do some quick research at NAPA's website, & write p/ns down before going in. HTH.

It's currently on backorder, as is 4WD Hardware. ;) Plus shipping $$ compared to the local NAPA.

I found EVERY bearing and seal I needed to rebuild my axles at my local Carquest. Fortunately there's an older guy there who takes the time to look up the old stuff for me, he enjoys doing it unlike most parts guys. He gives me a discount too :)

Was that for a Dana 27. Do you still hava a copy of the invoice? It would be great if you could post the part numbers. I will soon be rebuilding a 27. I have found the parts various places on the web and they are kinda pricey. Wouldn't mind trying Carquest.

Hmmmm, you know, I think I still do have the invoice. I'll dig around for it and hopefully have it up in a day or 2. And yep, it was for both my 27 and 44.

Okay. So out at the knuckles I'm good, but I need some help with the bearing and seals at the pumpkin.

AFAIK, I need a pinion seal, axleshaft seals and carrier bearings. Does anybody have carrier bearing part numbers?
