steel half doors

    i have a set of doors

    and i think of cut them and build a nice set of half doors.

    someone has done this before?
    if yes please pic.

    the problem are the door hinges because they are so high:twisted:

    Haven't done it yet, but I have a set of doors I'm going to gut out and cut the top off. Planning to keep the top hinge in the stock location, and add strength if needed. Taking out the window, track, and crank mechanism should lighten it up quite a bit.

    just cut the top hinge off and weld it back on after modding the door.......I made the female hinges for my half doors
