yes, my repair will be a rebuild now. probably best to do it now. everything looks pretty good exept the slider gear, gear is pretty worn on both sides and i noticed when it was running that it chattered going into 1st and a little in rev. is this normal for t-90? should i replace it? i cant afford to buy the total rebuild kit, i was going to get a new slider and the standard kit with new main, thrust bearings,gaskets,ect... no new shafts. what do you guys think?

The T90 is a non-synchro 1st, so it's normal to grind a little going into 1st if you're still moving & don't double clutch it. As a result, it's normal to have some wear on those gear teeth.
