Steering Wheel Nut Thread Size

    I would like to chase the threads on the end of my steering shaft, does anyone know the exact tread size of the nut that holds the steering wheel on? My best calculations are 13/16-20 but I would like to know for sure.

    Sounds like a thread file is what you need. Mine's saved my bacon a few times.
