OK I am about to rip every single wire out of the Ole' Jeep and burn them. Let me start from the beginning. I drove my Jeep to work one night. No problems there, then after I got off of work I went to start it and nothing. I figured I had left my electric fan on. So I got a jump, drove for about an hour, pulled in my garage. Turned it off and instantly tried to turn it back on. All I heard was a Click.... I have had my battery tested...GOOD, Alternator tested...GOOD. Have gone thru all my wiring and everything is good. I have a "One" wire chevy alternator with the built in voltage regulator, so thats not a problem. The only Wire I havent gone thru is the negative on the battery that is grounded to the engine block. I am going to replace that tommorrow but I am not looking for that to help. I can hook up the jumper cables hooked up for 5 mins, I can jump the jeep and it starts on the first turn over. Havent checked the starter soleniod. And the starter is newish. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me!! I am missing the warm months with my jeep.

If you are running the Delco starter, the solenoids are prone to not work properly after some use. They are very voltage/current sensitive. Try running a 10 gage wire from your ign-start terminal to your solenoid. Leave the original one on.

OK I got it fixed, it was the ground wire from the battery. I guess the engine heating and cooling process from over the years had just taken its toll. I had to move the ground wire to a different spot.
