Rim Size ?

    Okay, more rim/tire/backspacing questions. The wheels that I've picked out in 16" (I already have 265/75R16 tires) with the LEAST backspacing of 4" only comes in 7" width. Will 4" backspacing be okay for a '73 with 11" drum brakes? I know that 3 3/4" is
    recommended, will 1/4" make a big difference? And will 265/75R16 tires look okay on 7" wheels?

    I think 16 inch wheels will work on the drums as they were originally 15s so you have 1 more inch of diameter to work with and the 7" width is fine for your 10.43" wide tires.(4" difference,max)
