I am in the middle of restoring a 66 CJ5 with a F-head 134. I have looked around the internet for 2 weeks now and cannot find any site with a diagram of body mount locations for this year. Can anyone help!!?? Please.

Someone on this forum has to have a line drawing of the frame, unfortunately not me. Here is a picture of the frame of my '60. There are four across the rear crossmember, two where the V-brace attach to the frame, two in front of the rear shock mounts, three brackets jut out from the sides of the rail (one driver and two passenger), and one under the grille. There are also two other locations at the front of the tub that do not get attached to the frame. Someone else may be able to clarify that. I have not dealt with those yet.

Thanks for the inofrmation!! I actually did all those and drilled 3 other mounts to help. 2 at each front support of the main body that is just below the fender mounts to the body, and one more that will eventually be below the gas tank on the frame.

4xfool, yes, i drilled mounts for those at the locations you have mentioned. who knows, for better or worse, but more body mounts wont hurt.

The forward most body mount is under the floor. About the location of your feet, while driving. The frame flexes to much to add anymore.
