The idea: mechanical oil pressure gauge for f-head cj5, purchased cj3b gauge and lines, (rubber hose and steel line).

The issue: thread for line too big to fit in block hole (i'm assuming they changed size in switching to oil sender/dash light)

The problem: cannot find anyone local with the correct fitting to adapt line to block hole.

Has anyone done this? do you have source for fitting for line to block?

    Thanks.

I used a standard 1/8 flare fitting to screw in to the block on my 1958 f-134. Can be picked up at Napa or most automotive stores. I would being your line with you and look for 1/8 to whatever size line you have. Hope this helps

x2. the block should be standard 1/8" npt pipe thread. the line is a flare fitting, so they are different threads. both my L head and 2 f heads have the 1/8" npt in the block.
